The ponds and lakes in Village at Griesbach are part of the community’s stormwater management system and are not designed for swimming, wading, boating, or skating.

• No swimming or wading (for people or pets) is permitted at any time because water quality and depths can change quickly.
• No boating, paddle‑boarding, or use of inflatables is allowed. In winter, ice on the ponds is unpredictable and unsafe; please stay off the ice and only use the designated community rink for skating.
• For your safety, please enjoy the water features from the pathways and viewing areas, and ensure children and pets stay back from the water’s edge.

Yes! The Village at Griesbach is a family‑focused community with multiple playgrounds, kilometres of walking paths, and over 23% of the neighbourhood dedicated to parks, lakes, and green space. There are two K–9 schools located right in the community, with junior high and high schools only a few minutes away.
